New article in the IEEE Transactions of Medical Imaging.
The article "Statistics of Optical Coherence Tomography Data from Human Retina," authored by Grzywacz, de Juan, Ferrone, Giannini, Huang, Koch, Russo, Tan, and Bruni, has been accepted for publication in the Journal. The article reports on the statistics of retinal OCT. From these statistics, new algorithms for the detection of anomalies are sketched. Application of these algorithms to retinas with diabetic retinopathy show great promise for very early diagnosis of the disease.
