New article in the Journal of Comparative Neurology
The article "Compartmental Localization of GABAB Receptors in the Cholinergic Circuitry of the Rabbit Retina," authored by Zucker, Nilson, Ehinger, and Grzywacz, has been accepted for publication in the Journal. The article reports the exciting finding that the dendritic trees of cholinergic amacrine cells are more complex than previously thought. The GABAB receptor appears in some but not all of the cell's varicosities. This inhomogeneity increases immensely the possibilities of cellular computations.
